001// THE PROJECT

Immanent approached me with the opportunity to create two looks for Lil Pump’s 2019 Lil Skies Tour. I would be animating the looks for hits ‘Gucci Gang’ and ‘Be Like Me’. The overall vibe of the tour package is a fun, 90’s TV aesthetic to match Lil Pumps carefree and energetic presence.

002// Be Like Me

Inspired by the concept of everyone trying to cop Lil Pumps style, Immanent asked me to create a factory that manufactures Lil Pump clones. I designed a series of assembly line actions that generate Pump’s iconic attributes through the use of hair simulations, x-particles liquid simulations, rigid body dynamics and soft body dynamics to create fun rhythmic animations.

003// GUCCI GANG

This tour was jam packed with 90s Nickelodeon nostalgia. For Gucci Gang we created abstract 3D patterns inspired by the Double Dare set in a Gucci Red, Green and Yellow color scheme to provide a fun backdrop for his hit track. I created a 3D version of the illustrated Double Dare style logo and a collection of 3D pattern elements to layer into the final pieces.
